Overview

Enerveo is a leading highways electrical contractor delivering full-service street lighting and highway electrical solutions for local authorities and infrastructure partners. The role is for a Highways Electrician/Street Lighting Electrician working on an ongoing street lighting contract in West Sussex, with base location in Slinfold.

Salary and working pattern:
From £27,011 to £31,094.42 (depending on skills and experience and working hours). Includes Time Incentive Management (TIM) Bonus Scheme and a range of other benefits to support family, finances and wellbeing. Working pattern is full time:
Monday – Thursday 7:30am–3:30pm, Friday 7:30am–3:00pm. Overtime available for those who want it.

• Maintain street lighting infrastructure including streetlights, signs, and subways; perform lamp changes, visual inspections and electrical testing
• Carry out electrical connections to new street lighting infrastructure
• Carry out fault diagnosis and repairs
• Ensure delivery of outstanding service to clients and the general public
• Operate a mobile elevated working platform (MEWP)
• Attend the emergency standby rota, being on call for emergency call-outs out of hours (Monday to Sunday)
• Work to strict safety guidelines and regulations

• Electrical background with apprenticeship and NVQ Level 3
• Happy to work outdoors in all weather
• Comfortable working at height and with MEWP
• Ability to work in a team and also independently when required
• Full UK Driving Licence

• IPAF/PASMA working at heights training
• Knowledge of the 18th Edition
• AM2 or City and Guilds 2391 qualification (benefit, not essential)
• G39 Electrical Safety in the planning, installation, commissioning and maintenance of public lighting and street furniture training
• HGV Class 2 Licence
