Job Title:
Application Engineer
This role requires an individual who can advocate for customers across departments, ensuring their needs are met promptly to win new business. The position involves participating in customer calls, fielding technical questions, and managing an opportunity pipeline.
Responsibilities- Advocate for customers across departments to ensure their needs are met in a timely manner.
- Participate in customer calls via Teams to understand their applications and suggest products.
- Respond to customer technical questions via email and use conversations to discover program information.
- Manage and update an opportunity pipeline within a CRM system.
- Communicate frequently with the outside sales team to coordinate customer actions.
- Create business cases for review by product management to advance development of customer‑requested solutions.
- Leverage engineering, manufacturing, and other department resources to answer customer questions.
- Proficiency in sales and project management.
- Experience in mechanical and application engineering.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
- 2 years of customer‑facing experience in a technical sales role.
- 2 years of experience within an aerospace and defense company.
- 2 years of experience with RF and Ethernet technology.
- 2 years of experience with cables and connectors product line.
The application engineer will receive orders from the sales team and then take over as the point of contact once the deal is secured.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sussex, WI.
Pay And BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $40.86 - $43.27/hr.
