The AVIRE US team is seeking a technically driven Production Engineer to support our growing manufacturing operations. You will own process design, Production tooling, validation, engineering changes, trouble shooting and continuous improvement initiatives, partnering with cross-functional teams across engineering, quality, supply chain, and production to optimize our end-to-end manufacturing flow and deliver products on time, at optimized cost, and to the required quality standards.
Expected start date for this role:
October 1st.
As the Production Engineer, you will serve as a manufacturing subject matter expert across new product introduction, sustaining engineering, and process improvement initiatives. You will be responsible for designing, validating, and optimizing Production tooling and processes to support both new product launches and legacy products through their full lifecycle.
Essential Functions:- New Product Introduction and Design Support
Lead manufacturing input into NPI — providing engineering support, tooling, PFMEAs, labor standards and test strategies from prototype through production release
- Process and Documentation Ownership
Own the design, governance and control of manufacturing processes, work instructions, test fixtures and production programming, acting as manufacturing authority for process changes
- Facility Layout, Capacity and Resource Planning
Define plant layout, production flow and capacity plans, and coordinate manufacturing engineering resources to meet operational demand.
- Equipment, Tooling and Technology Roadmap
Maintain and improve production equipment and tooling to maximise OEE, and shape AVIRE's technology, automation and digitalisation roadmap.
- Sustaining Engineering and Failure Analysis
Support the product lifecycle through root cause analysis, bottleneck resolution and supplier engagement on quality and specifications.
- Lean and Continuous Improvement
Drive lean, constraint analysis and workflow optimisation on site, partnering with the global CI team to improve quality, cost, delivery and productivity.
- Training and Knowledge Transfer
Train Production personnel on new processes, procedures and equipment
- Safety, Quality and Compliance Authority
Authorised to stop production where safety, quality or regulatory standards are not met; regular on-site attendance is essential

Qualifications & Experience- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or related field with 5–9 years of experience in manufacturing or process engineering; or Master's degree in a related field with 3–7 years of relevant experience; or 8+ years of direct relevant work experience.
- Knowledge of quality system regulations and standards (e.g. ISO 9001, UL, EN 81-28).
