Middle School Special Education II Instructional Assistant – Sutherlin School District (Job )
Position Type: Classified
Location: Sutherlin, OR
Position OverviewHours: 29 hours per week.
Grade Level: Middle School.
Responsibilities- Work directly with individual students or groups of students requiring special instructional help to reinforce learning material or skills.
- Assist students in regular, Title I, Special Education, and any other district or building instructional programs.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
CompensationSalary: Pay as per salary schedule, beginning at $17.89 per hour.
Effective Date of Hire: August 31, 2026.
Work Year: Approximately 176 days.
Benefits and PoliciesAny offer of employment is subject to successful passage of a pre‑employment drug screen test, fingerprinting and a criminal records check in accordance with OAR and district policy. All employees will be responsible for the cost of fingerprinting and criminal records check ($87.50).
