HousekeepingThe Housekeeping team ensures every guest has an exceptional experience by maintaining impeccable cleanliness and presentation in guest rooms and public areas. With outstanding professionalism and attention to detail, they create a welcoming environment, leaving a lasting positive impression on resort visitors.
SalaryThe on‑target earning potential for this role is a £28,627.88 annual salary, comprising a base salary of £27,130.28 supplemented by an estimated £1,497.60 in gratuities per annum, ensuring a rewarding compensation package.
About the roleAs a Supervisor in the housekeeping team, you will be required to assist the Housekeeping Management with, but not limited to, leading a morning or afternoon shift from the floor, briefing and directing the team. You will also be responsible for the following:
- Hands‑on approach to housekeeping – demonstrating, training, leading
- People management – persuasive, inspiring and determined. Helping all team members achieve their full potential in their role
- Monitoring and managing the Q – ensuring room readiness
- Monitoring HSK back of house areas to ensure cleanliness and readiness at all times
- Stock control and organisation across the blocks
- Standards testing of the housekeeping line staff and regular quality checks of all areas
- Assist with training of new and existing staff
- Attend and lead departmental briefings
- Communicate and work with other departments in the hotel
- Actioning guest feedback (Review Pro etc)
The ideal candidate with be passionate about the delivery of exceptional standards:
- Proven experience in allocating rooms and managing daily housekeeping schedules
- Committed to maintaining consistently high standards of cleanliness and presentation
- Strong understanding of, and adherence to, Health & Safety rules and regulations
- Confident in guiding, supporting, and training the housekeeping team
- Calm under pressure, with the ability to thrive in a fast paced housekeeping environment
- Able to make sound decisions and use initiative when required
- Demonstrates solid knowledge of housekeeping operations and best practice
- Shows a genuine passion for housekeeping and service excellence
