The Nights team brings the resort to life when the sun goes down, ensuring every guest feels welcomed, cared for, and valued. From smooth check‑ins and warm farewells to anticipating needs before they’re even asked, this team turns ordinary moments into memorable experiences.
The annual salary is £30,014.40 , plus service charges.
About the roleAs Nights Assistant Reception Manager you will lead the night operation across the resort, managing the team and maintaining consistently high standards of service. You will ensure a flawless guest experience while creating a work environment that supports the Belfry values, providing full support to the nights team for seamless running of the business.
- Assisting the Night Operations Manager.
- Running the night operation across the resort and stepping up in the Night Operations Manager’s absence, being on the floor and ready to assist across all departments and making decisions to improve service.
- Providing excellent guest service, resolving problems when they arise and identifying opportunities to make guests’ experiences memorable and enjoyable.
- Responsible for the health and safety of guests in‑house – record all accidents and incidents that may occur within the hotel for guests and staff.
- Assisting with the Night Audit.
- Available at all times to deal with guest queries and/or complaints, monitoring guest satisfaction and reporting regularly to the General Manager.
- Supporting the night cleaning staff and ensuring they are carrying out the duties allocated to them.
- Checking all public areas, including conference rooms, to ensure they have been cleaned and serviced correctly.
- Co‑ordinating and completing the night roster and dealing with any staff absenteeism issues.
- Championing waste management and ESG commitments in your department.
- Maintaining a good working relationship with all colleagues, motivating the night team to achieve high performance and providing necessary support where required.

- Experience managing teams within a front‑office environment.

- Able to develop strong relationships with guests, team members, and colleagues.
