The Infrastructure Electrician Role:
- The Electrician role will involve working on complex electrical systems, ensuring installations are maintained to a high standard and you'll also be supporting planned works, upgrades, and reactive requirements when required.
- Scheduled working away once a month, and night shifts are planned in advance.
- Supporting project delivery from installation through to final testing and handover.
- Working on LV distribution systems, including installation, testing, and commissioning activities.
- Installing and commissioning motors, pumps, ventilation equipment, and associated control systems.
- Completing installation works involving emergency lighting, signage systems, and lighting control systems.
- Supporting the installation and commissioning of specialist systems including CCTV, EV charging, and other electrical infrastructure.
- Carrying out inspection and testing to ensure installations meet current regulations and client requirements.
Qualifications
Required:
- Electrical JIB Gold Card / ECS Gold Card / Approved Electrician qualification
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- Inspection & Testing qualification (22391/2394/2395)
- Full UK driving licence
