Hourly rate between $21.54 and $32.31, with potential additional incentives and commissions.

Job SummaryThe Mobile Trailer Technician I performs DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, light repairs, and assists more experienced technicians. Work is conducted at customer sites, focusing on trailers and related equipment.
Responsibilities- Follow safety practices and procedures
- Manage parts inventory and perform safety checks on service vehicle
- Conduct scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and repairs
- Use hand tools, welding equipment, and document work accurately
- Communicate effectively with clients and management
- Maintain compliance with safety and regulatory standards
- Perform minor repairs on trailer systems
- High School Diploma/GED; up to 2 years related experience
- Own set of hand tools
- Obtain ASE T8 (PMI) and 608/609 certifications within 18 months
- Valid driver’s license; ability to pass DOT physical and background checks
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Knowledge of trailer parts and systems
- Physical ability to perform labor-intensive tasks
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to select appropriate tools and manage tasks efficiently
