We are looking for a Mitigation Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of radon mitigation systems. You will teach customers how to use their equipment, troubleshoot issues, and follow company procedures.

- Are mechanically inclined and enjoy hands‑on work.
- Have 1+ years of experience in Construction, Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, or building maintenance (preferred).
- Take pride in quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
- Can work independently and follow established procedures.
- Are dependable, organized, and punctual.
- Are comfortable working in crawl spaces, attics, and on ladders.
- Hold a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Install, repair, and maintain radon mitigation systems.
- Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, and post‑installation testing.
- Educate customers on system operation and maintenance.
- Maintain a clean, organized company vehicle and warehouse space.
- Occasionally perform light digging or excavation at job sites.
- Document job details according to company policy.
- Represent Protect Environmental in a professional, customer‑focused manner.
- Respond promptly to customer concerns and service needs.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 1+ year of experience in construction, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, or building maintenance (preferred).
- Ability to walk, climb ladders and lift equipment; routinely walk, climb ladders and lift of equipment.
- Good physical health and ability to perform hands‑on construction work.
- Capability of occasionally working in crawl spaces, attics, and on roofs.
- Must be able to regularly lift 60 pounds.
- Ability to stand on your feet up to 8 hours a day.
- NRPP certification for radon mitigation (or ability to obtain within required timeline).
