Do you want to become a Diesel and Trailer Technician? Cox Fleet is proud to announce open enrollment into our next Flee Tec Academy class, a paid educational program that leads to a path to becoming a full‑time Diesel and Trailer Technician.

• 5 weeks of paid classroom training at our Academy Campus.
• All travel expenses, hotel accommodation, and a meals stipend are covered.
• Stipend of $250 per week (taxed) during the first week.
• Hourly base rate ranges from $15.10 to $22.60 per hour, varying by location and candidate qualifications.
• Upon successful completion of the first phase, hourly rate increases to $21 per hour.
• Additional training and pay progression will be available throughout the multi‑year program.

• Attend full‑time classroom training for five (5) weeks.
• Travel to the Academy with company-paid expenses, hotel, meals, and stipend.
• Pair with a Lead Technician in your market for hands‑on training after the classroom phase.
• Perform preventative maintenance and general repairs at customer locations as a Mobile Mechanic.
• Maintain and keep a toolbox of hand tools provided during training.
• Return to the Academy for additional classroom study as needed to develop skill set.
• Successfully complete background checks, driving record checks, pre‑employment drug testing, and a physical examination.

• Desire to start a career as a Diesel and Trailer Technician and become a Mobile Mechanic.
• Willingness and ability to study hard for 5 weeks away from home.
• Maturity level to focus on the task at hand.
• Technical aptitude and passion for fixing vehicles.
• Ability to use an iPad.
• Must be 21 years of age or older to drive the company’s trucks.
• High School Diploma or an equivalent combination of education is preferred but not required.
• Current authorization to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.

• Minimum of sixteen (16) hours of paid time off every month.
• Seven (7) paid holidays throughout the calendar year.
