Accounting Intern

At CME Wire & Cable, we are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Intern who is ready to gain hands‑on experience and learn how accounting supports real business operations.

This is a great opportunity to work closely with our CFO, Controller, and accounting team while contributing to meaningful projects that impact the organization. This is not a typical internship. You will be actively involved in day‑to‑day accounting activities, reporting, and process organization while gaining exposure to how financial decisions are made within a growing company.

• Assist the CFO, Controller, and Cash Management Leader with daily tasks and special projects
• Support accounting leadership with reporting, data organization, and general administrative tasks
• Assist with day‑to‑day accounting functions and financial processes
• Help organize, document, and improve accounting procedures
• Prepare basic reports, Excel spreadsheets, and reconciliations
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure financial data accuracy
• Provide support on additional projects and tasks as needed

• Hands‑on experience in a professional accounting environment
• Exposure to leadership and real‑world financial decision‑making
• Strong Excel and reporting skills
• A deeper understanding of accounting processes and business operations
• Practical experience that will support your future career growth

• Must be a current senior/ recent graduate pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Advance knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Willingness to learn and take initiative
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
