Controller – Chemical Manufacturing

Location: Suwanee/Duluth, GA Area

Base Salary: $150-$160k (DOE)

Schedule: Onsite Daily / Monday – Friday

The Controller oversees all accounting operations, including financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance. This role ensures accurate financial data to support strategic decision‑making and drives process improvements across the organization.

• Lead the accounting team, managing AP/AR, payroll, general ledger, and financial reporting.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
• Track and analyze key financial metrics, sales performance, and cost trends.
• Conduct account reconciliations, oversee inventory audits, and manage tax reporting.
• Maintain internal controls and audit readiness.
• Support product costing, labor analysis, and financial modeling.
• Provide insights and reports to leadership, including variance and trend analysis.
• Supervise and develop a team of 2–3 accounting staff.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; MBA a plus.
• CPA required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in an accounting leadership role.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and financial acumen.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and cost management.
• Proven ability to lead teams and manage cross‑functional projects.
• Attention to detail, with a focus on continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
