A little about the position:

Job Summary

Responsible for coordinating office administration, purchasing, safety administration, employee engagement activities, vendor management, hiring support, and operational support for the facility.

What You Will Do:

HR Support

Coordinate interviews and candidate communications.

Schedule interviews and distribute interview invitations.

Provide applicants with facility directions and required forms.

Issue and remove badges, access permissions and security codes.

Assist with the coordination of employee events, recognition programs and celebrations including ordering lunch

Support employee committee meetings and plant meetings.

Track action items and communicate updates.

Office and Facility Administration

Process MRO purchases and obtain approvals.

Maintain purchasing records, checkbooks and budget tracking.

Assign GL codes and submit invoices for payment. Monitor vendor invoices and resolve payment discrepancies.

Order office, breakroom, maintenance and safety supplies.

Support leadership meetings, reports and special projects.

Manage reception and telephone coverage.

Assist with creating reports (Excel and PowerPoint) needed for presentations

Safety and EHS Administration

Conduct and coordinate employee safety training.

Maintain training records and compliance documentation.

Manage Velocity tasks, hazard reports and corrective actions.

Coordinate hearing tests, inspections and first-aid training.

Lead Safety Committee administration and meeting minutes.

Coordinate safety vendors, fire extinguisher inspections and PPE programs.

Performs other duties or projects as assigned.

What You Bring to the Table: (Qualifications)

Ability to work alone or in a team.

Ability to communicate professionally and effectively in oral and written form.

Ability to multi-task, prioritize and set and reach goals while meeting deadlines.

Ability to take direction.

High School Diploma or GED required;
Associate degree preferred.

3+ years of office administration, purchasing, HR support, safety administration, or manufacturing support experience preferred.

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.

Able to handle confidential information with the appropriate level of professionalism and discretion
