Since 2009, Lawrenceville-Suwanee School of Music has provided high-quality music education to families throughout Gwinnett County. We are looking for an energetic, positive, organized, and service-minded Office Manager in Training to help manage, support and continue to grow our Suwanee campus.
About the RoleThe Office Manager in Training will learn LSSM’s systems, processes, and culture while supporting daily campus operations. This role combines customer service, enrollment and sales, administrative support, teacher coordination, and team leadership.
As you grow into the role, you will oversee one Office Assistant and help ensure the campus runs smoothly, professionally, and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities- Welcome students and families and provide excellent customer service
- Answer phones, respond to inquiries, and follow up with prospective families
- Conduct tours, explain programs, and assist with enrollments
- Process registrations, trials, and student information accurately
- Communicate with teachers and help keep daily lessons running smoothly
- Monitor the building to maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment
- Learn and follow LSSM’s administrative and operational procedures
- Oversee and support one Office Assistant
- Maintain clear shift notes and communication between team members
- Assist with basic marketing, events, and social media communication
- Support leadership with additional campus needs as they arise
- 2+ years of experience in customer service, sales, administration, or a related field
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Friendly, confident, and professional with families and staff
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow systems
- Comfortable learning new software and technology
- Leadership experience is a plus
- A genuine desire to help children, families, and teachers
Full-time: 40 hours/week, 5 days per week
Typical shifts will be:
- WEEK DAYS 12:00 PM–8:00 PM or 1:00 PM–9:00 PM
- Two Saturdays per month: 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
- Closed Sundays
$20–$22/hour, based on experience and qualifications
