Summary

Are you a relationship-builder, deal-closer, and opportunity-spotter? We’re looking for high-energy Sales Team Members / Business Development Managers to help us grow our footprint across major metropolitan markets on the West Coast, Midwest, and North Atlantic region. In this role, you’ll be the driving force behind new business growth—while also nurturing existing client relationships and acting as the key connector between customers and our internal teams.

What you'll do

This role is all about impact. You’ll have the freedom and responsibility to build, grow, and own your territory.

  • Proactively identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities
  • Manage and grow existing accounts while expanding relationships
  • Plan and organize daily sales activities to engage current and prospective clients
  • Sell confidently using company products, services, and sales strategies
  • Track your success by submitting activity reports, including daily call reports, weekly plans, and territory analyses
  • Stay ahead of the curve by monitoring competitors, market trends, pricing, and new product activity
  • Recommend improvements to products, services, and policies based on market insights
  • Resolve customer issues with a solutions-first mindset and communicate recommendations to leadership
  • Stay sharp by attending workshops, reading industry publications, and building professional networks
  • Collaborate with teammates and contribute to shared goals—because wins are better together

Management may adjust responsibilities as needed to support business goals or reasonable accommodations.

Position Type & Travel

  • Full-Time | Exempt
  • Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. (40 hours/week)
  • Travel required within assigned metropolitan territory and region

What you bring

  • Bachelor’s degree (BA) from a four-year college or university OR 1–2 years of related sales/business development experience (or equivalent combination)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presenting to customers, leadership, and groups
  • Ability to analyze reports, interpret data, and respond to customer and business inquiries
  • Comfortable working with numbers—discounts, commissions, percentages, and basic calculations
  • Strong problem-solving skills in fast-moving, real-world situations
  • Proficiency in order processing systems, spreadsheets, and word processing software
