Job Description:

Quick Hire Opportunity! We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Estimating Specialist to join our growing residential single-family electrical construction team. This position supports pre‑construction operations by preparing accurate estimates, reviewing plans, coordinating material pricing, and assisting with bid preparation.

• Prepare residential electrical estimates and material takeoffs.
• Review blueprints, specifications, and builder requirements.
• Coordinate pricing with vendors and suppliers.
• Assist with budgeting and pre‑construction planning.
• Maintain accurate bid and estimating records.
• Communicate with project managers, field staff, builders, and suppliers.
• Identify scope gaps and project risks.
• Attend occasional builder meetings and job site visits.
• Follow company safety policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Experience in residential electrical estimating or construction.
• Ability to read blueprints and electrical drawings.
• Strong math, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proficiency with computers and estimating software.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Must pass pre‑employment background screening.

Combination of office and occasional field/site work; prolonged computer use and desk work; ability to walk active construction sites as needed; occasional lifting up to 25 lbs.
