Suwanee, GA | Hybrid Schedule
$65,000–$75,000 + Excellent Benefits
Are you an experienced Project Estimator looking for an opportunity to join a growing, collaborative team where your work directly impacts the success of each project?
Our client in Suwanee, GA is seeking a detail-oriented Project Estimator to prepare accurate bids, collaborate with project management, and help secure new business. If you enjoy working with construction plans, takeoffs, and cost estimating while partnering with a team from bid through project handoff, we'd love to hear from you!
What You'll Do- Review project plans, specifications, and bid documents to prepare accurate estimates.
- Perform detailed quantity takeoffs using OnCenter Software.
- Prepare Requests for Information (RFIs) as needed.
- Analyze project schedules and develop competitive estimates.
- Recommend value engineering and cost-saving alternatives.
- Collaborate with the Chief Estimator and Project Management team to finalize bids.
- Ensure all bids are submitted accurately and on time.
- Partner with the Project Management team during project turnover to ensure a seamless transition.
- Assist with delivery schedules and project planning after award.
- Previous estimating experience in the construction industry.
- Experience reviewing construction drawings and specifications.
- Experience performing quantity takeoffs (OnCenter experience is a plus).
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and time management abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
