- Overseeing and managing the technical support and service operations of a company. This includes ensuring the delivery of high‑quality technical assistance to customers, resolving technical issues, and maintaining the overall satisfaction of clients.
- To support the company's vision, mission, and guiding principles.
- While performing any procedure, all associates and contract personnel must observe applicable Safety, Health, and Environmental rules and guidelines. The use of appropriate personal protective equipment is required.
- Attend and participate in training opportunities and seminars relevant to this position.
- Adhere to appropriate company operating procedures, benefit rules, employment policies, and safety policies.
- Manage team members (on‑site and remote) time & attendance, skill development, and training for needs.
- Approving drawings of design details and drawing documentation of gears and gear motors while analyzing and determining engineering modifications and changes needed to fulfill customers' requirements for equipment.
- Works with HQ engineering department on necessary changes.
- May prepare proposals, quotations and determine appropriate pricing with assistance from Sales/President.
- Thorough knowledge of the company's products, equipment capabilities, and engineering disciplines is required.
- Consult with customers by electronic means (telephone, e‑mail, fax, etc.) and on‑site visits concerning topics relating to physical properties & capabilities of product offerings.
- Application‑related product performance and troubleshooting, recommending products, and providing guidance appropriate to the application.
- Basic design engineering; preparation and delivery of position‑related presentations.
- Act as liaison between the fabrication department and customers.
- Investigate and resolve work‑in‑process problems.
- Recommends and implements improvements and/ or modifications in sequence of operations, equipment utilization, type of equipment to be used, and other process‑related factors.
- Monitors assigned operations to ensure compliance with approved methods and quality standards.
- Reviews and make recommendations regarding
- Works closely with other engineering areas to obtain optimum utilization of equipment.
- Any other duties as assigned.
- Required – Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical Preferred).
- Required – Minimum 5+ years manufacturing and/or technical support experience.
- Required – Read, Write and Comprehend English.
