We're seeking a Mechanical Engineer with strong design expertise and leadership skills who is passionate about building systems that power progress. You'll shape major projects across government, healthcare, and water/wastewater sectors, while mentoring junior staff and growing our mechanical design team.

What You'll Do
  • Lead and design building mechanical systems (HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, ventilation).
  • Supervise and mentor mechanical designers and junior engineers.
  • Serve as a project manager on assigned projects, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
  • Develop design documentation including drawings, specifications, and cost estimates.
  • Participate in client meetings and support business development efforts.
  • Perform construction administration, including reviewing submittals and site visits.
  • Conduct quality assurance and cross-discipline coordination reviews.
  • Develop reports and narratives for evaluations and troubleshooting.
  • Prepare design narratives and reports for design team stakeholders and permitting agencies.
  • Assist with developing mechanical budgets for building mechanical systems.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Professional Engineering (PE) license.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in facilities mechanical design and engineering.
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD and/or Revit, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of International Codes, NFPA standards, and mechanical systems.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
Compensation & Perks
  • Salary: $90,000–$130,000 depending upon experience.
