Pride Health is hiring a Phlebotomist II to support our client's healthcare facility in Suwanee, GA. This is a 13+ weeks contract role (with high possibility of extension or conversion) offering a great opportunity for experience to excel in a dynamic environment.

Job Details:
Schedule:

• Monday–Thursday, 7:15 AM–4:30 PM;
  Friday, 7:15 AM–12:30 PM or
• Monday–Friday, 8:15 AM–5:00 PM

Location: Suwanee, GA 30024
Job Type: Local contract
Contract Length: 13+ weeks
Pay Range: $21 - 23/hour

* Pay offered is based on experience, expertise, credentialing, and education.

Duties:

• Perform high-quality venipuncture and blood specimen collection following established procedures
• Collect and process both clinical and forensic specimens accurately
• Perform pediatric, geriatric, and capillary blood collections
• Verify patient demographic information and obtain required patient signatures
• Confirm specimen labels are accurate and properly applied in the patient's presence
• Prepare, handle, and process specimens according to laboratory procedures
• Maintain accurate records and required documentation
• Provide patients with clear explanations of collection procedures and create an atmosphere of trust and confidence

Requirements:

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
• Years of experience: Minimum 1-3 years of phlebotomy experience – REQUIRED
• Skills/Specialties/Technology:
  
  Experience with pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
