Job SummaryAMETEK is seeking a highly motivated, results-oriented, career-minded individual to serve as our HR Business Partner at our Suwanee, GA location. The role focuses on site leadership of talent acquisition, training, and employee relations, partnering with the management team to align culture and improve employee experience. The candidate will coach and mentor others within the Business Unit, reporting directly to the Director of Human Resources.
Key Responsibilities- Partner with the Director of Human Resources to drive talent acquisition, diversity, and talent management strategies, attracting and retaining high-potential salaried and direct labor candidates.
- Collaborate with the management team to drive improvement, implement cultural change, and enhance employee experience.
- Utilize AMETEK standard processes and tools, including recruitment software.
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve employee morale and collaboration, implementing creative solutions aligned with NSI‑MI’s values and strategic goals.
- Lead and support employee engagement initiatives that foster a positive workplace culture, including planning and executing appreciation events, wellness activities, and community outreach programs.
- Participate in the development of formalized growth and training plans for high-potential employees.
- Resolve employee relations situations and coach managers to hold team members accountable while respecting confidentiality.
- Participate in staff meetings and key stakeholder meetings, including KPI meetings, on a regular basis.
- Manage and drive NSI‑MI training initiatives.
- Facilitate annual people processes, including compensation planning and performance management.
- Handle day-to-day HR responsibilities for the NSI‑MI Technologies business segment.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the HR function and business needs.
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience.
- 5+ years of experience in Human Resources.
- Ability to maintain confidential information.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong recruiting and demonstrated ability to improve talent acquisition strategies.
- Demonstrated expertise in training managers and employees.
- Strong organizational, critical thinking, and communication skills.
- Ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply the appropriate sections of applicable laws, guidelines, regulations, ordinances, and policies.
- Understanding of the organization’s hierarchy, jobs, qualifications, compensation practices, and related administrative practices.
- Excellent time‑management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Legal right to work in the U.S. and authorized to access export-controlled information and source code.
- Some domestic travel may be required.
- SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM‑CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM‑SCP) credential, or ability to obtain certification within one year.
- Proven experience in organizing and managing employee engagement events that enhance team cohesion and workplace satisfaction.
