  • Manage full-cycle recruitment for assigned non-exempt positions, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer coordination, pre-employment processing, and maintaining accurate applicant records.
  • Coordinate and facilitate new hire orientation; prepare onboarding materials; partner with hiring managers, IT, Safety, and Payroll to support new hire readiness; and support structured check-ins designed to improve integration and retention.
  • Process employee lifecycle transactions in the HRIS, including new hires, promotions, transfers, compensation changes, status changes, and terminations; maintain accurate personnel files and employment records.
  • Serve as an HR resource for timekeeping and payroll-related questions; partner with the Payroll Manager to resolve discrepancies and communicate approved employee transactions within established deadlines.
  • Assist employees with benefit enrollment, qualifying life events, and general benefit questions; support administration of leave programs including FMLA, ADA accommodations, workers' compensation, and short-term disability.
  • Support annual and periodic performance review processes; assist managers with coaching documentation, written warnings, performance improvement plans, and follow-up on outstanding actions.
  • Coordinate required employee training, certifications, and development activities; maintain accurate training records and follow up on incomplete or expired requirements.
  • Coordinate employee recognition programs, service awards, and referral bonuses; support engagement surveys, focus groups, workplace events, and initiatives designed to improve employee experience and retention.
  • Support compliance with applicable federal, state, and local employment laws; maintain personnel files and HR records in accordance with company requirements and ensure confidential records are stored separately and securely.
