About This Role:
The Parts Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the efficient coordination, availability, and distribution of spare parts in support of after-sales service operations. This role plays a critical part in maintaining customer satisfaction, minimizing equipment downtime, and supporting internal teams by managing parts inventory, logistics, and supplier coordination in alignment with Socomec NAM service standards.
Responsibilities- Coordinate the ordering, receiving, and distribution of spare parts to support service and customer requirements
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure optimal stock levels for service operations
- Process and track parts orders, shipments, and returns, ensuring timely and accurate delivery
- Liaise with suppliers, logistics partners, and internal teams to resolve parts availability or delivery issues
- Ensure compliance with company procedures related to inventory control, shipping, and safety
- Prepare reports on parts usage, backorders, and inventory performance
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in logistics, supply chain, or business preferred
- 2–4 years of experience in parts coordination, inventory control, logistics, or a related role
- Experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or technical service environment preferred
- Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered
- Knowledge of inventory management and basic supply chain principles
- Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, Lists, One Drive)
- Ability to read and interpret parts lists, technical documentation, and service orders
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Customer-service mindset with the ability to support internal and external stakeholders
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Compensation range: $60,000 – $65,000 USD
