* The Opportunity:

** Responsible for the day-to-day maintenance and repair of the building and facilities.

Avantor is looking for an experienced and proactive Sr. Maintenance Technician to optimize our Suwanee Facilities team, delivering results against some of the most complex business and technology initiatives.

This role will be a full-time position based out of our Suwanee, GA distribution center with monthly travel to our Missouri City, TX location. You will have the opportunity to be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance and repair of the buildings and its facilities. ** What we’re looking for**

* Education:

** High school diploma preferred
* *
* Experience:

** 5+ years maintenance experience  + Skills in mathematics, personal computers and related applications are vital.  + Interpersonal and communication skills are important.  + Knowledge of HVAC and conveyor systems required.
* ** Certification(s):
** Technical school preferred

*** Maintains building electrical system and heating and cooling equipment.
* Manage all required PM Tasks for the sites.
* Travel at least once a month to 2nd site out of state.
* Performs maintenance or general carpentry on items such as doors, floors, docks, overhead doors, conveyors, product racks, materials handling equipment, etc.
* Completes required reports when maintenance tasks are concluded and logs them correctly in appropriates software system,.
* Answers security alarm calls as needed.
* Performs other duties as assigned.
