The NAR Logistics Manager oversees the outbound logistics process, managing logistics operations, optimizing efficiency, and ensuring timely delivery of goods. Responsibilities include strategic planning, team leadership, budget definition, managing financial resources efficiently, audit and validate 3PLs, and implementing cost‑effective logistics solutions. The role requires operational expertise, financial acumen, and project management skills to ensure successful coordination of logistics activities within budgetary constraints and to address supply‑chain disruptions.

• Manage all ACIM NAR Logistics Outbound Freight and Finished Goods Warehouses (total value USD 40 million/year expected for FY23).
• Ensure inventory accuracy in all 3PLs, Duluth and Rancho Cucamonga warehouses (total value USD 49.6 million).
• Lead projects and improvements, building the future logistics operations strategy.
• Define and track process KPIs.
• Manage the two NIDEC Operations warehouses:
  Duluth, GA and Rancho Cucamonga, CA, and all USA 3PLs (currently 11).
• Technical validation and direct participation in decision processes for all 3PLs operations.
• Build and manage the NAR logistics operation budget.
• Develop and contribute to the individual growth of team members and promote a motivating environment.
• Lead teamwork with respect, integrity, and credibility, adopting transparent and objective dialogue; conduct weekly individual and group monitoring.
• Maintain contact with other divisions and regions to share knowledge and best practices.
• Participate in recruitment and selection of team members.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute outbound freight transportation activities, including carrier management, route optimization, and cost‑effective delivery.
• Manage warehouse operations of Duluth and Rancho Cucamonga, ensuring Nidec standards, inventory accuracy, safe environment, budget control, and cycle counting.
• Oversee 3PLs management in the USA and Canada: partner selection, daily shipment control, cost effectiveness, inventory turn control, and annual inventory count.
• Approve warehouse invoices in Dataserv (USD 50k).
• Plan, allocate, and monitor financial resources related to all NAR ACIM outbound and FG warehouses, analyzing transportation, warehousing, employee costs, and implementing strategies to optimize spending.
• Plan and ensure execution of projects, managing time, budget, scope, and multi‑functional teams.
• Lead digitalization of logistics operations, identify and implement innovative technologies to enhance efficiency, visibility, and data analytics.
• Lead construction of a comprehensive roadmap for supply‑chain process optimization, conduct analyses, define key aims, and prioritize work fronts.
• Share strategic vision with the Global department, address potential challenges, and ensure alignment with business goals.
• Provide backup for the NAR Logistics Director in his absence.
• Take part in decision analysis for approval of 3PLs and carriers.
• Provide monthly Outbound USM M  information (closure analysis, OTL definition, projects).
• Manage a multicultural team across Mexico, USA, and the Philippines.
