The Area Operations Manager is responsible for the financial delivery of operational budgets, forecasts, reports, and cash management. This position includes oversight of key operational roles, including Service Managers, Project Managers, and Project Estimators. Works under general supervision following clearly defined procedures and policies.

The Area Operations Manager should possess the following skills, characteristics, and abilities:

* Excellent customer service and sales skills.

* 5+ years of HVAC management-related experience

* Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred.

* Exhibit in-depth knowledge and understanding of HVAC and refrigeration systems.

* Ability to work across multiple business units and support other divisions of the company.

* Excellent leadership skills to enhance team productivity and standards of work produced.

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong conflict management skills.

* Detail-oriented and highly organized with the ability to handle multiple tasks and assignments.

* Good computer skills with proficiency in common office applications such as MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and general software navigation.

* Possess a strong personal desire for improvement and the desire to motivate employees to do the same.

* Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and background.

* Ability and willingness to work a non-standard schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.

* Develop and implement cost control measures and service standards to ensure compliance with contract requirements.
