Key Areas of Responsibilities
- Manages all system documentation relative to the design, development, processes, and procedures of manufacturing resource planning (MRP). Manages MRP projects and oversees the use of internal or outside consulting resources.
- Responsible for production scheduling and issuing work orders for the Suwanee site. In addition, assist with the launch of production planning / supply chain software and become a subject matter expert on the system.
- Formalize all supply chain activities in the QMS to ensure standard work and allow the operation to achieve its goals without a high dependency on specific people.
- As an ERP expert, use the ERP as the system of record, ensuring its information is accurate. Train all Suwanee team members to optimally use the system and its information.
- Oversee materials procurement in coordination with the purchasing area (Newbury) to ensure raw materials are on time, and quality and quantities are at the optimal price and service-level.
- Work with the Warehouse Supervisor and its team for the proper storage of all material and attain inventory accuracy >99% with optimal space-use.
- Coordinate demand management to drive efficient production by having stable production volume, eliminating/reducing the headcount variances, and targeting a shipment schedule of 100% "on-time-in-full" (OTIF).
- Continuously review obsolete part numbers and coordinate activities to eliminate physical and ERP inventory under Kinetico procedures, including obsolescence in ERP.
- Oversee RM and freight costs as well as lead initiatives to ensure purchase price variance (PPV) and freight cost budgets.
- Participate in other corporate supply chain projects as assigned.

- Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of related procurement experience including purchasing, inventory control, contract negotiation, supply management, supplier relationships, basics of Cost Accounting, and tracking budget expenses.
- In depth knowledge of MRP processes.
- Ability to learn quickly and prioritize appropriately to meet customer and company needs.
- Must be detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to respond quickly to a fast-moving and ever-changing environment.
- Conducts all activities with the highest degree of integrity.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good computer skills including word processing and spreadsheet proficiency.
