This position will be responsible for the organization and coordination of material requirements. The role works with Design Engineering, Application Engineering, Customer Service, Information Technology, Manufacturing, and Purchasing teams to ensure timely availability of materials and components.

Responsibilities
  • Function as the focal point in creating a production schedule for the plant using the best combination of Manufacturing ERP system and Excel.
  • Determine parts requirements per order based on technical points and ERP outputs.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report performance against the production schedule.
  • Assist the Manufacturing department to actively manage production, schedule work hours, and allocate resources.
  • Research and assign manufacturing times and due dates on parts as needed and document during the release process and for special order requests.
  • Identify and resolve supplier and internal errors that result in schedule discrepancies.
  • Provide continual improvement of the planning and reporting processes.
  • Participate in project milestone meetings and new product development as required.
  • Accurately develop and maintain complex master bills‑of‑material and work order bills‑of‑material.
  • Validate BOMs against engineering documentation for accuracy.
  • Reproduce drawings and assemble drawing packets complete with work‑order router (traveler), completion dates, and instructions for all operations.
  • Stay informed of current projects, customer quotes, manufacturing workload, and manufacturing processes.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required, preference for a two‑year technical degree.
  • 2+ years of experience in ERP Manufacturing field.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel (data entry and printing options).
  • Working knowledge of ERP methodologies.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Internet Explorer and/or similar programs.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multitasking environment and constructively under pressure.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional computer‑based skills and knowledge.
  • Demonstrable problem‑solving and analytic skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
