The production operator contributes to all phases of the production process, including operation of automated equipment, diagnosis of machinery failures, preventive maintenance, and sanitation. Operators make production decisions regarding preflight and operation of equipment and may rotate job assignments. The role supports a safe work environment and demonstrates competency for on‑the‑job activities affecting product safety, legality, and quality.

• Check production work schedules and job assignment/ reporting time.
• For SCALER/DIVIDER OPERATOR: check and maintain production schedule; scale ingredients; load, operate and unload mixers; operate dough pump; check posted scaling weights and equipment standards; adjust and operate one-pocket and six-pocket dividers; adjust and operate rounder; adjust and operate overhead proofer; perform start-up/shut down sanitation and preventative maintenance; keep work area clean and organized; comply with company policies (EEO, Harassment, Safety, etc.).
• For WRAPPING OPERATOR: check production schedule and product running order; verify pan count and wrap/count sheets; set and operate slicer, bagger, and tier equipment; perform quality control inspection of finished product; ensure correct loading; perform start-up/shut down sanitation and preventative maintenance; keep work area clean and organized; comply with policies (EEO, Harassment, Safety, etc.).
• For PALLETIZER: check production schedule and product running order; verify proper program is running; check pallets and slip sheets for quantity; perform start-up/shut down sanitation and preventative maintenance; keep work area clean and organized; comply with policies (EEO, Harassment, Safety, etc.).
• Similar responsibilities apply when assigned to ROLL LINE OPERATOR, BOARD MONITOR, and RETARD BOX MONITOR.
• All employees are responsible and accountable for ensuring the quality and safety of every function and all products.

• Two years of related bakery or production experience
• High school diploma or equivalency

Salary Range: $27.22 per hour
