PAI Manufacturing is a 53 year-old privately held family business, debt free, USA precision machining contract manufacturer producing high tolerance alloy and metal components to multiple industries including Heavy Truck, Automotive, Solar, PTO, ATV, and many more. Core products include component such as gears, pistons, cylinder heads, oil pumps, water pumps, PTO, etc.

Role Description

The Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Machinist is a full-time, on-site role based in Suwanee, GA. This role is responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring CNC machines creating products to customer specifications. Day-to-day tasks include interpreting blueprints and work orders, selecting appropriate tools and materials, performing precision machining, milling, turning, gear hobbing, grinding and other operations, and adjusting machine settings to achieve accurate dimensions and finishes.

The CNC Machinist inspects parts throughout the production process, documents measurements, and collaborates with team members to maintain quality standards and meet production schedules. The role also involves routine machine maintenance, adherence to safety protocols, and continuous improvement of machining processes.

Qualifications
  • Proficiency in Machine Operation and Machinery use, including setting up, running, and adjusting CNC equipment.
  • Hands-on experience with Machining processes for metal components and precision parts.
  • Strong Quality Control skills, including measuring, inspecting, and documenting part dimensions and finishes.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions.
  • Basic math and measurement skills, including use of calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools.
  • Commitment to 5S, cleanliness, organization, workplace safety and proper handling of equipment and materials.
  • Previous CNC machining experience in a manufacturing environment; experience with heavy-duty or automotive parts is a plus.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in machining or CNC operation is preferred.
