Marketing Manager
SUMMARY:
You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic marketing plans. This includes creative marketing, branding, digital marketing, social media, marketing communications, and more. Some of the goals include brand recognition development and demand creation for Fine Line products and services in our target markets as well as supporting the sales and business development team.

- Build, primarily B2B focused, marketing programs and develop materials to support specific marketing objectives across different markets, channels, and segments in support of our overall business objectives.
- Marketing communications and creative marketing
- Compile content and manage production of communications for end-user, channel, and partner outreach.
- Make sure marketing materials are available for sales and customers, including datasheets, white papers, guides, presentations, etc.
- Be proactive and creative in the development of new sales tools and marketing materials.
- Proactively seek case studies and press release topics to help promote Fine Line products and services.
- Manage and execute new product introductions and other product or services related content, materials and communications together with the sales team.
- Develop, manage, and fully utilize media and PR contacts and relationships across the industry.
- Interface with outside vendors when necessary to execute marketing projects.
- Set up, monitor, review, and report on marketing activities. Monitor performance and effectiveness of campaigns against business objectives.
- Manage and execute media scheduling, creation, proofing and distributions of marketing materials.
- Samples – manage and execute the design, creation, procurement and availability of product samples.
- Online, digital, and social media marketing
- Develop and mange an effective online marketing strategy, including web presence (development and ongoing support of content and design), SEO to position Fine Line as the leader in select markets and applications, and fresh content development
- Coordinate across regional teams to ensure that all local requirements are defined and met and global online strategy and plans meet local requirements in the regions served by Fine Line.
- Define, create, manage and execute campaigns to increase brand recognition and product awareness.
- Define and utilize social media and other digital marketing tools.
- Take charge of developing and utilizing Salesforce to its full potential in campaigns, direct mailings, product introductions, reporting, etc.
- Work with sales and customer service to help ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Manage and distribute leads and put together programs to follow-up on leads.
- Events
- Plan, organize and support events including trade shows, partner events, webinars, trainings, sales meetings, etc.
- Develop relationships with event organizers.
- Proactively manage all aspects of event planning and execution including invitations, advertising, promotion, and follow up (including timely lead collection, follow up and subsequent management in Salesforce).
OTHER
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assists VP Sales & Marketing with other sales support tasks as required
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversees marketing interns
POSITION TYPE/REQUIRED HOURS OF WORK:
- This is a full-time position. Hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., 40 hours per week. Occasional travel is required for this position. This position requires the employee to work on-site at the facility they are assigned to.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required:
- Requires any combination of education and experience equivalent to a college degree and 3-5 years inside, business-to-business, sales support, business development or marketing experience.
- 3-5 years’ experience in marketing-based role.
- Requires attention to detail with an eye for visual design and branding.
- Experience with digital and direct response marketing.
- Competence as a creative writer with an eye for great emails and landing pages.
- Strong problem-solving ability, including metrics-driven thinking.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office – Excel, Word, & PowerPoint.
Preferred:
- Previous experience in the pressure sensitive label, paper, flexible packaging or AutoID industry is helpful.
