Key Responsibilities
- Perform visual and automated optical inspections of PCB assemblies to detect defects according to IPC- A-610 standards.
- Document inspection results, rework actions, and maintain accurate quality records.
- Communicate findings promptly to SMT operators and management to facilitate corrective actions.
- Ensure inspected assemblies are correctly routed for further processing or rework.
- Operate and calibrate the Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) machine to maintain optimal performance.
- Basic understanding of IPC- A-610 quality standards and PCB manufacturing processes.
- Experience or familiarity with Automated Optical Inspection equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately record inspection data.
- Effective communication skills for reporting defects and collaborating with production teams.
- Ability to work the 2nd shift (3:30PM – 11:45PM) and follow safety procedures.
