Position Overview

Birch Agency is seeking School Psychologists to support students across Gwinnett County, Georgia
. We currently have 2 openings with flexibility regarding school location within this large district.

This is an excellent opportunity for a School Psychologist looking for either a full-time or part-time assignment, with the ability to work in a setting that aligns with their availability and preferences.

Position Details
  • 2 School Psychologist openings
  • K–12 caseloads
  • Full-time and part-time options available
  • Full-time:
    Typically assigned to 2 schools
  • Part-time:
    Typically assigned to 1 school
  • Flexible regarding school location within Gwinnett County
  • Starting pay of $60/hour, dependent on experience
Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct psycho educational evaluations and assessments.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of IEPs.
  • Provide psychological services and support to students across K–12 settings.
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, special education staff, and families.
  • Analyze assessment data and communicate findings to educational teams.
  • Support students' academic, behavioral, social, and emotional needs.
  • Participate in eligibility meetings, IEP meetings, and multidisciplinary team meetings.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with district requirements.
  • Provide consultation and recommendations to support student success.
  • Follow district policies, professional standards, and applicable regulations.
Qualifications
  • Master's or specialist-level degree in School Psychology or a related field.
  • Georgia School Psychologist certification or eligibility for certification.
  • Experience working with school-aged students preferred.
  • Strong assessment, evaluation, and report-writing skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary educational team.
