What You’ll Do- Operate a company truck to transport materials to customers.
- Operate motor vehicle safely in compliance with all state and federal laws.
- Communicate with sales associates or managers to solve problems and meet customer needs.
- Act cooperatively toward customers and associates.
- Ensure trucks are in safe operating condition and maintain a clean appearance.
- Lift, carry, push, and slide packages that typically weigh up to 75 lbs frequently, and occasionally lift items greater than 75 lbs with assistance.
- Load and unload trucks with equipment and construct pallets to protect stock during delivery.
- Participate in processes and programs that promote a safe work environment, following safety procedures and wearing PPE.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education and/or experience:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Clean Motor Vehicle Record.
Requirements- Ability to frequently lift, carry, push, and slide packages up to 75 lbs.
- Requires standing, walking, bending, climbing, reaching with arms, and constant use of hands.
- Continuous mental and visual alertness to maintain safety and accuracy.
- Requires flexibility and mobility in body movements.
- Ability to remove gates from flatbed trucks.
- Occasionally may be required to lift items greater than 75 lbs with assistance.
- Strong math and reading skills.
