What You’ll Do- Operate a motor vehicle in a safe manner, following all state and federal laws and regulations.
- Communicate with sales associates or manager through problem solving to meet customer needs.
- Act in a helpful and cooperative manner towards customers and World associates.
- Ensure truck is in safe operating condition and maintains a clean appearance.
- Ability to frequently lift, carry, push, and slide packages that typically weigh up to 50 lbs.
- Load and unload trucks with equipment.
- Construct pallets based on delivery area preventing stock from being damaged on delivery.
- Participate in processes and programs aimed at promoting a safe work environment. This includes following Safety Procedures and wearing PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record.
- Ability to frequently lift, carry, push, and slide packages that typically weigh up to 75 lbs.
- Frequently requires standing, walking, bending, climbing, reaching with arms, and constant use of hands.
- Continuous mental and visual alertness to maintain safety and achieve accuracy.
- Requires flexibility and mobility in body movements.
- Removing gates from flatbed trucks.
- Occasionally may be required to lift items greater than 75 lbs with assistance.
- Strong math and reading skills.
- Ability to frequently lift, carry, push, and slide packages that typically weigh up to 50 lbs.
