Yard Driver -(CDL Suwanee GA

Sofo Foods is one of the nation's largest family-owned wholesale distributors of Italian and specialty foods. We're looking for a dependable CDL A Yard Driver to join our team at our Suwanee, GA Distribution Center
. In this role, you'll play a vital part in keeping our operations running smoothly by safely moving trailers to and from warehouse dock doors and supporting local transportation needs.

• Safely move tractor-trailers throughout the yard and position them at warehouse dock doors.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and basic preventative maintenance on trucks and trailers.
• Report maintenance issues and repair needs to help keep our fleet operating safely and efficiently.
• Pick up local products and complete additional driving assignments as needed.
• Follow all company safety policies and DOT regulations.

• Experience operating and maneuvering tractor-trailers in a yard environment.
• Valid Class A CDL required.
• Ability to safely climb in and out of trucks throughout the shift.
• Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to successfully pass a DOT physical, drug screening, and background check.
• Availability to work 2nd Shift (Afternoons).
