Position Overview
Warehouse Clerk processes shipping/receiving documentation and coordinates stock movements to ensure efficient warehouse operations.
Essential Functions- Warehouse
- Operate forklift or hand truck to move, convey or hoist equipment and parts throughout the warehouse and work areas.
- Comply with all quality standards and policies.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area, including cleaning/maintaining equipment and performing safety inspections.
- Shipping
- Accurate picking, packing and shipment of various sized parts to support quick turnaround of parts ordered.
- Fill orders by removing the correct parts from the shelf, identifying part numbers and proper quantity.
- Determine method of shipment and pack accordingly.
- Count, weigh, measure or examine packaging and contents of items for conformance to company specifications.
- Receiving
- Receives and unpacks merchandise and supplies and verifies accuracy of deliveries.
- Performs general labor tasks including loading, unloading, lifting and moving materials.
- Confirms proper location of merchandise.
- Ensures production area organization and cleanliness.
- Stocks shelves by placing material in appropriate locations.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and physical ability for handling materials.
- Must have dependable attendance and be a team player.
- Basic computer skills helpful.
- Six (6) months or more experience working in a warehouse environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
This role requires frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping; ability to balance and use arms and hands to reach, pull, push, clasp and move a variety of materials. Ability to lift and/or move up to 20‑50 lbs. frequently; exposure to high areas. Temperatures of work areas may depend on outside conditions. Training is provided for environmental, health and safety; PPE is provided by the company.
TotalBase Pay Range
$18.00 – $21.00 USD hourly. The actual base pay will vary depending on qualifications, experience, and location.
