Education Requirements- High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
- Basic math skills required, including counting, addition, subtraction, and quantity verification.
- Basic computer skills and experience using handheld RF scanners required.
- Ability to read, understand, and follow safety procedures, work orders, and warehouse instructions.
- Minimum 1 year of forklift operator experience required operating stand-up forklifts, order pickers (cherry pickers), and other powered industrial equipment.
- 2+ years of warehouse forklift experience preferred.
- Experience with warehouse operations including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, loading, unloading, inventory control, and shipping.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, same-day shipping distribution environment.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy, safety, and productivity.
- Reliable attendance, dependability, and a strong work ethic are essential for success.
- Safely operate stand-up forklifts, cherry pickers, pallet jacks, and related warehouse equipment.
- Frequently stand, walk, bend, climb, reach, and lift throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
- Must wear steel‑toe shoes and other required PPE.
- Warehouse is not climate controlled and may be hot during summer months.
- Ability to work in a noisy, fast‑paced warehouse environment.
- Operate stand‑up forklifts and cherry pickers to move, store, retrieve, and transport inventory throughout the warehouse.
- Perform picking, packing, receiving, put‑away, sorting, loading, unloading, and shipping activities as business needs require.
- Complete daily forklift inspections and maintain safe operation of equipment.
- Use RF scanners to accurately pick and process customer orders.
- Verify product accuracy, quantities, and shipment details.
- Assist with inventory counts and general warehouse operations.
- Attend daily team meetings and follow all attendance, safety, and warehouse policies.
- Cross‑train and support multiple warehouse functions, with the majority of time spent operating powered industrial equipment after training.
