We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Children's Support Worker to join our welcoming and supportive team in a residential children's home in Swadlincote. This is an exciting opportunity to build a rewarding career in residential child care, supporting young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD). Working in residential child care means every day is meaningful. You will help create a safe, structured, and nurturing home where young people can rebuild trust, develop life skills, and achieve their full potential.

• Provide high-quality care and emotional support to children and young people with EBD
• Promote positive behaviour management strategies
• Support daily routines, education, and recreational activities
• Build strong, trusting relationships with young people
• Maintain accurate records in line with policies and regulations
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, families, and professionals
• Safeguard and promote the welfare of children at all times

This is a hands‑on, rewarding role within residential child care, where your impact truly matters.

• Experience working with children or young people
• Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection
• Confidence managing challenging behaviours calmly and professionally
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends
• Passion for making a difference in residential child care
