Framer/ Carpenter Job Description
We are seeking experienced framers who can independently frame a house from start to finish. Applicants should demonstrate proficiency in reading plans, laying out walls, framing floors and roofs, setting trusses, and completing framing work with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities- Read and interpret building plans and blueprints.
- Layout walls, floors, and roofs according to project specifications.
- Frame floors and roofs efficiently and accurately.
- Set trusses in place and ensure structural integrity.
- Complete all framing tasks with minimal supervision.
- Proficiency in framing and carpentry.
- Experience as a framer with at least 2 years of hands‑on experience.
- Ability to perform finish carpentry and cabinetry work.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in cabinetry is advantageous.

Work EnvironmentWork in a shop environment that is non-climate controlled. The position operates on a first shift schedule from Monday to Friday, 6:00 am to 4:00 pm.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Swainsboro, GA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job‑related factors.
