Teacher, Grades 6-12 – Center for Academic Excellence is a full‑time, on‑site role based in Lynn, MA. This educator provides direct instructional support to students, focusing on executive function skills and individualized learning strategies. Day‑to‑day responsibilities include planning and delivering lessons and small‑group sessions, collaborating with classroom teachers to align support with curriculum goals, and monitoring student progress through assessments and data.
The teacher will assist students with study skills, organization, and test preparation, while maintaining detailed records and communicating regularly with families, counselors, and administrators. Additional duties may include participating in faculty meetings, professional development, and school events to support the broader academic mission of St. Mary’s.
- Demonstrated expertise in Education and Teaching, with experience supporting students in middle and/or high school.
- Strong Lesson Planning skills, including the ability to design targeted interventions and differentiated instruction.
- Effective Communication skills for working with students, families, faculty, and staff in a collaborative school environment.
- Experience in Training or coaching students in study skills, organization, and self‑advocacy.
- Bachelor’s degree in Education teaching licensure preferred.
- Ability to use educational technology and data to inform instruction and track student progress.
