Custodian Technician – Real Estate Operations

Responsible for routine office cleaning and light carpentry repairs, with a major focus on cleaning.

Respond to work orders requested by colleagues and the business, and manage a routine schedule of work orders.

• Cleaning, stocking and supplying designated facility areas on a regular basis (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning, trash removal, etc.).
• Inspect facilities on a routine basis and repair items as required.
• Respond to emergency and non‑emergency service requests and prioritize work order response.
• Refer to vendors via the work order system if necessary.
• Close out work orders on completion via iPad or the Computerized Maintenance Management System.
• Complete work orders correctly with minimal callbacks.
• Provide minor office relocations of furniture and/or contents.
• Communicate pleasantly and professionally with internal and external customers.
• Maintain inventory of supplies, tools, and materials; purchase supplies at the best available price.
• Execute periodic deep cleaning tasks and special projects when required.

• One or more years of experience in janitorial and light carpentry roles.
• Proven customer service experience and/or abilities.
• Competent use of MS Office applications (Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, Word).
• Ability to travel as required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure with efficiency and accuracy.
• Ability to plan and prioritize workload.

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license, required.

• Hours per week: 40, overtime available.
• Work schedule:
  
  Monday – Friday, 5:30 am – 2:00 pm.

The salary range for this position is $20.00–$22.00 per hour. Actual pay is based on factors such as location and relevant skills and experience.
