Job SummaryThe Mass General Brigham Medical Group is a system‑led operating entity formed by Mass General Brigham to deliver high quality, low cost, innovative community‑based ambulatory care. We are seeking a full‑time RN to join our practice, working 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, based at our 250 Paradise Road location in Swampscott, MA.
This RN role supports a high‑volume ambulatory family medicine practice. The position is primarily focused on phone triage, with additional responsibilities including nurse visits and cross‑coverage on the clinical floor. The RN will work closely with one other nurse and collaborate with the broader care team to ensure efficient, safe, and patient‑centered care delivery.
Essential Functions- Deliver direct patient care and support, ensuring high nursing standards.
- Conduct patient assessments, devise care plans, and assist in outpatient procedures with a focus on patient comfort and safety.
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and post‑procedure care.
- Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
- Administer medications, perform IV therapy, and maintain accurate patient records in compliance with regulations.
- Uphold infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
- Associate’s Degree Nursing required.
- Bachelor’s Degree Nursing preferred.
- Registered Nurse [RN - State License] required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS Certification) preferred.
- Clinical nursing experience 0–1 year required.
- Ambulatory Care or Outpatient Experience 1–2 years preferred.
- Phone Triaging Experience.
- Ambulatory RN Experience.
- Primary Care Experience.
