Starts at $30‑32 per hour, depending on experience.

Part‑time. Typically 2–3 days per week (16–24 hours). Shifts usually within Monday‑Thursday 7 am–5 pm and Friday 7 am–12:30 pm; early or late shifts may be required.

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
• Current registered nurse (RN) license in the state of employment.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• At least one year of nursing experience preferred; new graduates may be trained.
• Experience in at least one of the following: surgical, ambulatory surgical center (ASC), Pre/Post‑Op, PACU, ICU, medical–surgical, telemetry, or operating room.

• Supervise and direct patient care in an individual operating room.
• Ensure proper techniques and practices are used in accordance with accepted standards.
• Comply with HIPAA regulations and uphold patient rights.
• Perform duties ethically and legally within license scope.
• Supervise other personnel in the room and provide assistance as necessary.
• Immediately report unusual occurrences and document appropriately.
• Demonstrate primary nursing accountability through coordination, communication, and continuity of care.
• Assess, prioritize, plan, and implement patient care efficiently.
• Maintain accurate and legible medical records.
• Participate in continuing education, staff meetings, and quality programs.
• Follow physician orders and management directions.
• Actively contribute to a healthy work environment.
• Assist in training new staff when needed.
• Balance team and individual responsibilities.
• Collaborate effectively with other departments.

• Knowledge of Amkai Office and Amkai Charts Database software.
• Knowledge of patient monitoring and emergency equipment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Familiarity with printer, copier, telephone, and fax functions.

Requires frequent walking (75 %), sitting (50 %), and standing (50 %). Regular bending, stooping, and reaching (25–50 %) are required. Must lift, carry, push, and pull up to 25 lb. Requires strong fine‑motor skills and visual and auditory acuity. Occasional driving or climbing may be necessary.
