Job DescriptionThe Special Education Teacher will serve as the lead teacher in a special education classroom.
Qualifications RequiredEducation:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in education.
Experience:
- Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with diverse learning needs.
- Ability to provide a range of accommodations, modifications, and specialized instruction to meet the individual needs of students with disabilities.
Other:
- Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) licensure in Special Education for grades PK-2
Education:
- Master’s Degree in Special Education
Experience:
- Prior experience working with elementary students with diverse learning needs.
