Substitute Bus Driver

Salary Range: $23.99

Join the Swansea Public Schools transportation team as a Substitute Bus Driver. This position is on call, as needed, for after school sports and daytime field trips. Safety is our top priority, and we are looking for responsible individuals to help ensure the well-being of our students every day.

• Education:
  
  High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience:
  
  Three continuous years of driving experience
• Must have a safe driving record and be able to provide documentation
• Other:
  Valid driver’s license
• Valid CDL & School Bus Certificate
• Must be at least 21 years old
• Successfully complete CORI and fingerprint-based background checks
• Successfully complete substance abuse screening
  
  Must be able to safely transport students to and from school, following assigned routes/schedules and adhere to all traffic laws
• Successful completion of CORI and Fingerprinting background checks.

• Education:
  
  Prior experience operating a school transportation vehicle
