Full-time, permanent We are looking for an experienced Deputy Manager to join a 4-bedded children's residential home supporting three young people in the Carmarthenshire area. This is an excellent opportunity for someone ready to step into a key leadership position and help shape positive outcomes for children and young people. About the Role As Deputy Manager, you will play a central role in ensuring the smooth and effective running of the home.

Responsibilities include:

Leading staff to deliver safe, nurturing and consistent care Supporting the Registered Manager with compliance, safeguarding and day-to-day operations Planning and supervising Monday-Friday shifts to maintain high-quality standards Mentoring, supervising and developing staff in line with organisational expectations Ensuring all care/pathway plans are understood, implemented and regularly reviewed Maintaining accurate, detailed and compliant records, logs and documentation What We're Looking For To succeed in this role, you will need: QCF Level 3 in Health & Social Care (Children & Young People) Minimum 2 years' experience in a residential children's setting, including leading shifts A full manual driving licence Strong communication, leadership and decision-making skills A passion for supporting young people and developing staff teams Must be 21 due to care regulations Apply Now If you're ready for the next step in your leadership journey, we'd love to hear from you.
