Registered Manager – Children’s Residential Care
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated registered manager to oversee a children’s residential care home located in the South West Wales region. This full-time, permanent position is suitable for professionals committed to delivering high-quality, trauma-informed care to children and young people.
The successful candidate will take responsibility for leading a team of support staff and deputies, ensuring that the home maintains the highest standards of care and compliance with regulatory frameworks such as CIW and SCW. The role involves overseeing care planning, safeguarding procedures, and assessments to promote a safe and nurturing environment where young people can flourish. Collaboration with therapeutic teams specialising in trauma-informed support is essential to support the overall well-being of young residents.
Candidates should hold a QCF Level 4 or 5 qualification in Health and Social Care (Children and Young People) and have at least two years of management experience in children’s residential services. A comprehensive understanding of Welsh childcare regulation and a valid driving licence are also required.
