Multi Skilled Engineer; Kitchen Fitter​/Carpenter

We’re looking for a Kitchen Fitter to join our Planned Repairs Team on a full-time, permanent basis. Carpentry is your core trade, with experience fitting kitchens. Your work will focus on full kitchen replacements and planned refurbishments in Swansea, covering the Haverfordwest to Neath Port Talbot area. Skills in plumbing or other trades are a bonus, as you’ll support sink, tap and basic pipework installation.

• Work van and fuel card provided — you’re good to go from day one
• Uniform and all tools supplied
• Basic DBS check covered by us
• Flexibility to be paid weekly or monthly
• Sick pay, increasing with length of service (up to 6 months’ full pay after 4 years)

We offer a healthy work‑life balance with Monday to Friday working, plus the option of compressed hours on a 9‑day fortnight, giving you extra time back for you. This is a full‑time, permanent role (40 hours per week) with a competitive salary of £33,487, along with a great package designed to support you at work and beyond.

• Prioritise your core trade – carpentry, with a particular focus on full kitchen refits from removal to installation
• Fit units, worktops, doors, and associated fixtures to a high standard
• Complete basic plumbing tasks linked to kitchen installs (e.g. sinks, taps, connections)
• Build your skills in other areas as part of a supportive, multi-skilled team

• City & Guilds or NVQ (or equivalent) in Carpentry (or significant experience)
• Proven experience in kitchen fitting and carpentry in domestic settings
• Basic plumbing skills relevant to kitchen installations
• Confidence working in people’s homes with a professional, courteous approach
• Willingness to support other trades when required
• Flexible, positive attitude and strong commitment to health and safety
• Full UK driving licence

Bonus if you’ve worked in social housing or used mobile working systems – but not essential.
