Mechanical Fitter

Our client, specialising in the Transmission & Distribution sector, is currently seeking two dedicated Mechanical Fitters to join their team on a contract basis. This opportunity is perfect for individuals with a keen understanding of mechanical fitting and experience in T&D projects.

• Performing routine maintenance and mechanical fitting tasks
• Installing, repairing, and maintaining mechanical systems and equipment
• Interpreting technical drawings and schematics to assemble and disassemble machinery
• Ensuring all mechanical works meet safety and quality standards
• Collaborating with other team members to ensure seamless project execution
• Completing necessary documentation for work performed
• Conducting troubleshooting and fault diagnosis of mechanical issues
• Providing regular updates to supervisors on job progress and any issues encountered

• Experience in mechanical fitting, particularly within the T&D sector
• NG Person accreditation
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical documents and blueprints
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Commitment to maintaining high safety and quality standards
• Good communication skills
• Relevant mechanical fitting qualification or equivalent experience
